About me

Experience

As an experienced Counsellor and Psychotherapist, I have worked in private practice for over five years with young people and adults, and previous to this within the NHS, counselling members of staff. I have also worked as a Counsellor and Low-intensity CBT therapist at a young person’s charity in Bristol and as the lead Counsellor at a Sixth Form College. Before training as a therapist, I worked extensively with young people and adults in different settings, including education, health care and the creative industries. Throughout my counselling training and beyond, I have had my own personal therapy and understand first hand just how overwhelming it can be to find the right therapist and to establish trust in the process.
